Throughout the world and in various languages, "ULU" either means owl, crazy or divine inspiration, however at our school, ULU stands for Universal Love and Understanding. Our passion is to spread health and wellness around the world. The school honours sacred wisdom of traditional yoga yet explores dynamic and creative modern styles. Since 2014, ULU Yoga has led well over 100 teacher Trainings in Thailand and Bali as well as online.
We are a RYS 200/300/500 certified Yoga Alliance school (198078). ULU Yoga is known around the world for our instructors, as well as for our quality of teaching and student care. Janaina Mendez
Janina’s (Brazil, E-500 RYT) teachings focus oncorrect and safe alignment of hatha, vinyasa and yin yoga. She empowers students to look inwards and expand their perception. With her warm and giving nature, Janaina's intention is to create a space where students can develop a deep connection and understanding of themselves through a journey of love and compassion. 90min Hatha Flow
Manjeet Mathur
Manjeet (India, E-500 RYT) specialises in yoga philosophy, pranayama and meditation. Manjeet has led teacher trainings, chakra retreats, dance yoga trainings and yoga sharing circles & workshops in Bali & India. His highest purpose is to keep creating space and peace in his daily life and invite others to also keep choosing their higher self, intuition and connectedness with all. Nature of Soul
Cody Pizer
“My philosophy is, whenever you do any classes or any physical practice of yoga, do it with joy, have fun and be happy.” Cody has been teaching with ULU Yoga for several years on multiple teacher trainings in Thailand and Bali. He specialises in vinyasa flow, anatomy and meditation. He has written books on mindfulness and leads courses on finding your flow through meditation. 90min Vinyasa Flow
Dr. Kalpana Karia
Kalpana (India/Africa) has over 60 years of yoga experience. She was twice appointed director for East African studies, has lectured at numerous international conferences, published books, had her own TV series and received awards from the Prime Minister of India. Saskia Mahler
Shashi (Germany, RYT-500) has over 10 years of yoga experience and has trained hundreds of instructors. Shashi has deep knowledge of yogic philosophy and energetic in addition to hatha and vinyasa yoga. KK’s passion for yoga is infectious. With over 20 years experience, she's a master at taking you through the paces, drawing connections between poses and giving you the confidence to achieve advanced asanas.
